Accountant- Real Estate- Dubai

Position: Real Estate Accountant
Location: Dubai, UAE
Working Hours: 9 AM – 6 PM, 6 days a week (Flexibility required)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including processing invoices, tracking expenses, and ensuring accurate and timely payments.
  • Prepare and process payroll, ensuring all employee payments are accurate and on schedule.
  • Maintain and reconcile the company’s accounts payable and receivable.
  • Oversee the preparation and filing of VAT returns, ensuring compliance with UAE tax regulations.
  • Monitor and manage company cash flow, tracking revenue and expenses to ensure financial health.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, providing clear insights into the company’s revenue and financial performance.
  • Manage financial transactions, ensuring proper documentation and filing for audits and tax purposes.
  • Handle tax payments and ensure that all tax liabilities are settled on time.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, working closely with the management team to forecast expenses and revenue.
  • Track and report on all financial aspects of company projects, ensuring that project costs are within budget.
  • Review and manage employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain and organize all financial documentation for easy retrieval and audits.
  • Provide financial advice to management regarding cost-saving measures and profitability improvement.
  • Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an accountant, preferably within the real estate or construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE tax regulations, including VAT.
  • Excellent proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
  • Solid understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Experience in payroll processing and managing employee expenses.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
